Hi, in the latest podcast, you were telling the story of Mary, who said she knew 6 months in advance when someone was gonna die. I read about yogi's who know this exact same thing in the same timeframe, they explain that about 6 months before someone dies a part of their energy leaves them. It sounds exactly like what Mary was talking about, maybe this comment helps her to understand what she is feeling, and that she doesn't have to be afraid of it, it seems to be a normal thing.

White Noise

When I was born, it was on a Saturday at 10:11 am in the morning. I guess it was a bit blizzard-like (it was a cold February); my parents knew I was special.

Within six months, I was talking; and I mean talking - like full sentences, and conversed frequently in Lakota with my father (He's Oglala Lakota). I didn't learn English until I was four or so.

Anyway, after those six months, I started seeing things; things I can't describe, other than saying they were shapes – transparent shapes. This is the only way I can articulate it, perhaps because my brain is not able to properly recall the images. I remember from a very young age, always talking to something. I guess you could say it might have been a spirit, or perhaps a fae. I don't remember. The talking extended to a little boy, whom only I was able to see, and an old woman who I always seemed scared of. Later, I would out that they were ghosts.

Aside from the strange ghost phenomena, my family often experienced a cryptid of some sort. A type of dog or cat man, as well as flying birdlike people, and Bigfoot, who was often smelled or heard. So our dogs were constantly barking at night. Poltergeist activity was also quite common. No matter where we moved, even when we were on vacation, and throughout these years I've never been able to sleep fully through the night. Despite going to at least two sleep experts, they couldn't figure out why I couldn't sleep. Because of this, I was stuck with some sort of sleeping aid for at least two years.

So, skip back to when I was six or seven years old. Lying awake at night in our house in the countryside, I used to look out our window at night, watching the stars. One night, it was winter; a cold winter. The snow was glowing under the moonlight, when I saw, what looked like a multicolored star. On this night, I couldn't wake anyone up, and my brothers were right below me; since we shared a room and bunk bed. The star landed in the field outside, before winking out, and it was suddenly morning and I was whipped out and sent to school. At school the following morning, I felt disoriented, sick and quite stuffy. Almost like my sinuses were stuffy, but it stopped around lunchtime right after I drank some milk and had gotten sick. I would soon learn that I couldn't drink milk again.

Skip to my current age, and I'm twenty. I'm up from at least six o'clock in the morning, to at least four in the morning, taking a two or three hour nap in between. My mind races during the night, and I hear things: Like static filled with voices, so I would listen to music (Rob Zombie and Tool usually helps. As well as Versailles.) Still, I manage to function. I'm quite intelligent for my age. From third grade on, my reading and speaking level has been on the college level, And science class has always been too easy. I sometimes daydream of stars and galaxies or what you might call equations. Somehow, my math skills are solely handicapped, which is rather odd considering my intelligence in other areas. From what it sounds like, I may or may not have synesthesia, since I associate color with a memory or taste, resulting in an almost perfect photographic memory. Still, I hear this odd white noise from time to time, and it makes me anxious because sometimes, I find that some people’s voices are voices I know. Recently, my grandmother passed, and I've been hearing her voice in the white noise.

Perhaps that is the stories title: White Noise, because I think that's what keeps me up at night. And I'm not sure about the whole ghost thing, since I haven't spoken to any spirits in a long time, nor have I seen any cryptids. However, sometimes, I see the stars move.

To Be Continued.
